Adult Catholics (beyond High School) seeking to receive the sacrament of Confirmation must be prepared to receive the sacrament at their Parish. The Bishop of Austin, Bishop Joe Vasquez, confirms Catholic adults twice per year, on a Saturday morning in the Fall and in the Spring.
Preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Albert the Great begins 6 to 8 weeks before the date of the Confirmation.
Contact Deacon David Ochoa (deacondavidochoa@saintalbert.org) by email for more information and to register for the next Adult Confirmation Preparation. You may also attend the first session to register, but you must attend all five sessions to complete your preparation.
Those being Confirmed must have a valid Baptism Certificate with Notations showing other sacraments received (like First Communion). Contact the Catholic Church where you were baptized to obtain your Baptism Certificate.
Please read carefully the Expectations for Catholic Adult Confirmation Preparation:
St. Albert the Great Parish Expectations for Catholic Adult Confirmation Preparation
Please print and fill out the General Information Form and email it to Deacon David Ochoa (preferred), or bring it to the first session:
