Holidays are a time of joy and sharing. However, many families within our parish boundaries do not have the resources to celebrate a traditional Thanksgiving dinner or purchase gifts for the Christmas season. Social Ministries maintains the Thanksgiving Gift Card Project and the Christmas Giving Tree Project to reach out to our community to do for the least of our brothers that we may do for Christ.
The Thanksgiving Gift Card Project organizes donations taken during the month of November in order to provide assistance in the form of gift cards to those less fortunate so that they may celebrate Thanksgiving. We are collecting donations this year (Date TBD).
The Christmas Giving Tree Project puts up a Christmas Tree in the gathering space of the Church so that parishioners may choose to take a gift card tag for families in need. This year we will be collecting Gift cards only for this project.
