Gratitude

This weekend we begin our new message series on Gratitude. We are preparing to enter the month of November when we celebrate Thanksgiving. Then before we know it we will be preparing for Christmas. This is a time each year when we have lots of opportunities to give thanks for our blessings. This series explores how growing in the virtue of gratitude and appreciating the ways that God constantly provides will enrich our lives. Gratitude is all about joy and we will be exploring the joy God grants us through gratitude. Each week reviews a different aspect of gratitude, for God's love, for the work of the diocese (Catholic Services Appeal), for the word of God, for the inspiration of the saints, and for the time, talents, and treasures we are given.

Este fin de semana comenzamos nuestra nueva serie de mensajes sobre la Gratitud. Nos estamos preparando para entrar en el mes de noviembre cuando celebramos el Día de Acción de Gracias. Antes de que nos demos cuenta estaremos preparándonos para la Navidad. Este es un tiempo cada año cuando tenemos muchas oportunidades para dar gracias por nuestras bendiciones. Esta serie explora cómo enriquecer nuestras vidas creciendo en la virtud de la gratitud y apreciando las formas en que Dios provee constantemente. La generosidad tiene que ver con la alegría y exploramos la alegría que Dios nos concede a través de la generosidad. Cada semana revisaremos un aspecto diferente de la gratitud, por el amor de Dios, por el trabajo de la diócesis (Llamada a Servicios Católicos), por la palabra de Dios, por la inspiración de los santos y por el tiempo, los talentos y los tesoros que se nos dan.
