Prayer Blanket Ministry

The Prayer Blanket Ministry touches the lives of those who receive blankets and those who create and distribute them.  Each prayer blanket is blessed and is a tanglible sign that the person receiving the blanket is covered by the prayers of a community of faith.  There are many steps in making each blanket, so each one is touched by many loving hands.
Prayer blankets are intended for anyone who may be suffering and/or in need of prayers for God's healing hands.

The Prayer Blanket Ministry meets on the second Wednesday of each month in the parish hall from
1-3pm.  You can become a member and help with any of the following steps:

• wash & iron fabric panels 
• cut fabric to blanket size
•  machine embroider the St. Albert the Great logo
• sew straight or decorative stitches
• prepare blankets for distribution
• assist with blanket distribution at the First Friday Healing Mass each month
• donate cotton or cotton/polyester blend fabric (1.25yd or more)
• make a financial donation which is used to purchase sewing supplies and fabric
